Notebook Challenge: Assign Different Colors

Use a multicolor pen or colored pencils and assign different colors for different people in your family for your calendar.  If you use an online calendar, make each person a category and assign that category a color.

One of the items I suggested you add into your Christmas Organizing Notebook supplies was a multicolored pen to use on your Christmas Calendar.  Assign one color to each person in your family and one color for the family as a whole.  By color coding each person’s activities, it allows you to easily glance at your calendar to see who has what events and when.  You could also use colored pencils for a paper planner or color coding categories with your online calendar.   If you have a central family calendar in your house for others to add their events too, encourage your family to use their color when adding items to the calendar.
