Foundations of Christmas Organizing – Part 1 of 3 – Your Christmas Notebook
Does Christmas stress you out? Do you wish you could enjoy the season instead of just surviving? Christmas Organizing will help guide you through creating a Christmas plan, including a Christmas notebook. There are threemain foundations for having a less stressful Christmas season:

In this article,we will talk about the three steps to creating a Christmas notebook.
Step 1 – Gather your supplies. When creating your Christmas notebook, I recommend using a 1.5-inchthree-ring binder, allowing you to add items throughout the year without having to change notebooks. In addition to your binder, you will want to add the following items:
- 3-hole punch
- Extra wide dividers for 3-ring binder
- Slash pocket folders
- Photo pocket pages
- Colored pencil/multicolor pen
- Page protectors
- Notebook paper
- Zippered pencil pouch
- Year-long calendar
- Business size envelopes
Each of the above items will help you to get and stay organized, allowing you to have items you need at your fingertips.
Step 2 – Create your tabs. Your tabs should be unique to you and your Christmas planning topics. If you do not entertain or bake/cook at Christmas so those tabs would not be ones to include in your notebook. Use the list below as a guide to help you create your tabs. This list follows the Christmas Organizing forms that are available.

Use the above list as a guide. I encourage you to add in any tabs that are an important part of your Christmas season planning.
Step 3 – Populate your notebook. Now that we have gathered all our supplies and created our tabs it is time to populate your notebook with helpful forms, lists, andideas.
